
I always wanted to be a doctor. Since I was a child, my parents knew that would be my choice, no matter what it took. My initial training as a specialist doctor was in family medicine, and I completed my doctoral thesis and a master’s degree in healthcare administration management.
I discovered that the individual was just as important as human collectives and their organizations, which led me to pursue my second specialty, Psychiatry.
I have also had the opportunity to manage public organizations in the Balearic Health Service (Ib Salut), serve as Head of the Psychiatry Service at the Inca Regional Hospital, and coordinate the committee for the Strategic Mental Health Plan of the Balearic Islands. Furthermore, I am a Regional Board Member of the Spanish Society of Dual Pathology.
